Really liking this card. I love reading all the comments of people saying this sucks because of Mana Leak. Yeah, and Jace 2.0 and Baneslayer both die to removal, so they must also be terrible cards.

It's like dealing with Star Wars Minis idiots all over again *face palm*

I like this card. If anything, it is nice disruption. Add on the fact that I hurt my opponent while also fucking up their hand and it's one of Zuty chase cards. :3

Scars Spoiler

It seems to be that White would be a really powerful color in draft, with great removal (Revoke Existence, Arrest, Dispense Justice) and early beaters. I'm not sure about black, the commons look a bit weak, but the uncommons look great (like Flesh Allergy). Maybe WB agro complemented by some artifact creatures like Ichorclaw Myr?

Also, I'm wondering, is there any reason you wouldn't run off-color Myrs, outside of too many two-drops?

Off-color myrs were frequently played in Mirrodin draft (though usually not more than 1 or 2). In fact, I remember often going down one land for every 2 myr I played (so 16 land, 2 myr).

Arrest was a 1st pick in Mirrodin, and I expect it to be the same here.

With Tempered Steel, Myr Galvanizer, Myr Battlesphere, etc, you might find yourself running as many artifact creatures as you can get your hands on.

I guess it really depends how top-heavy your deck is, or if you got a lot of Metalcraft.

It just smooths your draws in the same way Scuttlemutt was the unsung hero of Shadowmoor drafts.

As an aside, Scuttlemutt is awesome. A 2/2 body for 3 that accelerates, fixes, and does random other things. And a common! Why is this guy not in big decks?

Lens on my Prized Unicorn and yes I will draw 10 cards when your 5 guys have to block it. Oh yeah and then I will just use Withstand Death so I keep my creature.
