Easier to remove a creature then a land. IMHO, I don't think it is.

Not as true for indestructible creatures. They're a bitch to get rid of.
I think it is broken.
It's an endless chump blocker that can only be bounced or exiled (blah blah pacifism, whatever). It also produces mana, so it puts you a turn ahead. It's colorless, so any deck could use it.
In control, it survives your Wrath of God while accelerating you. So basically, it forces your opponent to overcommit to get damage through, then punishes them for it. It's also a win condition in that it can attack.
In Fauna Shaman decks, it's an accelerant or Shaman fodder. The only decks not playing 4 of this are dedicated aggro decks.
There's really no downside to playing this guy. Let's hope he never sees print.

But really, exile and sacing is more common for creature targets then lands. Of course, you'd need to hope that said spells are in the block. It's still difficult, but it's at least slightly easier to exile or sac a creature. Of course, and like you said, it becomes to good. That's why we will only print 4 and give them to me :3
