Each instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost.

I'm glad Think Twice is back, I always loved that card in Time Spiral draft. Past in Flames is ridiculous, it reminds me of Yawgmoth's Will, too bad it only hits instants and sorceries.

Damn them, I was hoping I could avoid the Transform dudes (aside from Garruk), but no. They had to go and make a good token making one.

And I will be severely disappointed if the art for Evil Twin lacks a goatee.

It is goatee-less. I hear the sound of 1000 alterers saying "ka-ching!"

Hey Brandon, here's another one for you. It's a half Doubling Season... a Singling Season:

Parallel Lives

Yeah, I just saw that one. Yet another card my token deck is gonna need, along with that new 3/4 green guy that when he attacks, he throws a 2/2 wolf token into play attacking for each creature in thew graveyard.
This set seems to be giving me a lot of fun stuff.

Charmbreaker Devils 5R
Creature - Devil
At the beginning of your upkeep, return an instant or sorcery card at random from your graveyard to your hand.
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, Charmbreaker Devils gets +4/+0 until end of turn
4/4

Another awesome card for Big Deck, since getting any instant or sorcery back from your graveyard each time is insanely powerful. If this guy works out he might replace Izzet Chronarch in my deck.

Yeah, not an artifact friendly card, though I can't see anyone siding this in since it's pretty much a dead slot against 90% of the cards in the environment. Hyrkul's Recall, Austure Command, Fracturing Gust are all much more powerful and "hateful".

Charm Devils is Kiln Fiend on steroids. I LOVE IT! And I usually avoid rares, but this is one I will need to go for.
Unbreathing Horde, if this is the correct wording, is INSANE! UB running GY benefit cards and that 2/2 that makes you win the game if you deck is the next casual deck I want to work on.

Also, LOVE the artwork ...

Nevermore
1ww
Enchantment Rare
As Nevermore enters the battlefield, name a nonland card.
The named card can't be cast.
"By the law of Avacyn, the following thoughts, words, and deeds are henceforth disallowed."

I have no intention of ever playing this card, but it's badass that they made a card called "Nevermore."

I agree on the name part, but why wouldn't you play it? It's a non-creature/pure Meddling Mage. I like it, but I have liked everything so far.

~Zuty

EDIT: Just saw this card
Spoiler:
, because casting Myr Superion for free and having a free Shock in the form of Perilous Myr is awesome.

Meddling Mage unchecked will win the game by itself in 10 turns. This card, unchecked, will lose the game by itself in 51 turns. Meddling Mage is rarely a dead card because even if you miss the important spell they cast, it still bashes for 2 every turn. Nevermore, if you miss the important spell, is dead (unless you're playing with Opalescence).

Trepanation Blade
3
Artifact - Equipment Uncommon
Whenever equipped creature attacks, defending player reveals cards from the top of his or her library until he or she reveals a land card. The creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn for each card revealed this way. That player puts the revealed cards into his or her graveyard.
Equip 2
Illus. Daniel Ljunggren #235/264

The flavor hits continue (this is also a really nasty limited card).

For reference, in case you have not read the His Dark Materials trilogy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trepanning

Yeah, being forced to mill a bunch of business cards off the top of your library is really brutal, especially if you hit a clump of creatures, removal, etc. I can see a dedicated mill deck being pretty good in this limited environment, seeing what has been spoiled so far.

Smite the Monstrous is a good card, but it's no Radiant's Judgment.

Intangible Virtue 1W
Enchantment Uncommon
Creature tokens you control get +1/+1 and have vigilance.

YES, YES, YES! I'm more excited that this is Uncommon than anything else. HELLO Sigil Captain/Juniper Order Ranger token abuse!

I'm sure you'll all think it's stupid and say you can Force of Will it or Doomblade it, but I like Moldgraft Monstrosity.

Nourishing Shoal x2 pitching Moldgraft Monstrosity x2
Flash + Moldgraft Monstrosity

Two 'free' 8/8 tramplers on T2 at the latest.

Also, Tree of Redemption ... Was this the 'silver bordered' card they were talking about? I really like it. At worst it's a 0/13 wall for 4. +0/+X effects are relatively cheap and with stuff like Elder of Laurels, Ranger's Guile, and Wreath of Geists, affordable ways to boost and protect not only your creature, but yourself are great ways to turn the tides in battle. Gonna hit 0 on your life total? Why not swap it, he'll still gain all boosting benefits from auras.

going through the full set now....

i like Paraselene. here's hoping there's a card called Parhelion.

wow at Dissipate! love that card, and i never thought i'd see it again.

Frightful Delusion. what a great Limited package. i know how to use this card already!

wow a near-strictly better Fleeting Image at uncommon. i'm liking Spirits in Limited.

Nope, won't work. The Shoal removes from game whilst the Monstrosity pulls from the yard. You'd be better off Turn 1 Ritual into Burried Alive, Turn 2 Flash into Monstrosity.
Zuty wrote:Also, Tree of Redemption ... Was this the 'silver bordered' card they were talking about? I really like it.
Per Rosewater's column today, the silver bordered card was Look at Me, I'm the DCI and the card based on it was Nevermore.

I'm slightly surprised at the return of Dissipate. Really wasn't expecting it. Cool that it's back though.

Overall, I like the set. There's a bunch of interesting or cool stuff, especially all the token things. Vaguely annoyed by them though, since it's a bunch of cards I need to get and try to figure out adjustments to the Big Deck for.

No, it only functions in play. It's just based on Look at Me, it's not a functional reprint.

Does Nevermore still count as a silver bordered card? Is it legal in Standard?

In Standard the chances of this card being "dead" are considerably less. Also, creature removal is more rampant than enchantment removal. I'll bet this card gets into most sideboards and even some main decks.
