Indeed, I'm glad to hear Solemn Sim is in, he's a great card that fits in virtually any deck (and I need 4x of him).

Oh, and have you guys seen the two 7 mana rare critters? The demon that Demonic Tutors when it hits play and the sphinx that Fact or Fictions? Looks like it might be a cycle of expensive rare creatures with an iconic spell as a comes into play effect.

I'm glad for the return of Oblivion Ring, though now with that and Pacifism at common White might be the best color for limited.

Yeah... I guess she is. The +1 ability is a bit dull (though better than the old +1 on the original), though the -2 could really be good depending on the deck. It's definitely a build-around kind of card (like this, Chandra's Phoenix, and then good UR cards).

i like how splashable she is. for my purposes, this just means she and a Mountain at least get thrown into every Limited deck where i get her.

Love the new Chandra. It doesn't hurt that I think she's really hot.

This card is crazy in limited control vs aggro. Don't play a creature the first 2 turns, then make up the lost life (and then some) and get 3 creatures? Unreal...

Interesting... I mean, it seems garbagey, but I can see this shutting down certain effects. With it in play, your opponent can't wait until the end of your turn to cast spells are use effects. Everything has to be done at the latest during combat.

I love Chandra. I do wish her +1 was like her Ablaze +1, but a free Shock is nice. Her second ability is great; speaking of splashability, it doesn't discriminate the color of the spell. Free Mirari; I'll take it! Her final is actually really interesting; at first I read it as Volley of Boulders with 6 damage to you divide up to six targets and that made me sad. I reread it and discovered I was wrong; it's Shower of Coals but for six targets instead of three and for 6 damage. So it doesn't bite you in the ass like Hex.

*Interested in seeing how people will use Sundial of the Infinite. Time Stop for 3 that only works on your turn ... Hmmm ...
*Timely Reinforcements. LOVE. IT. The commons and uncommons are a greater pull for me since I focus all my effort into Paupers and Poor Mans; a slower Even the Odds, but with life gain. Going to be replacing Even the Odds for my GW deck.
*O Ring at Uncommon is going to have a big impact on Paupers and Poor Mans.
*I <3 Blood Ogre. A Hulking Ogre with First Strike and no drawback. All at a common slot.

Timely Reinforcements is dusgusting in limited.

Your opponent on the play drops a turn 2 1/1 and on his 3rd turn swings for one.
Your 3rd turn you untap, drop a land, gain 6 and 3 1/1's??!!!

only problem with this card is that you have to rely on your opponents. and you know how effing unreliable they can be.

Great for my combo big deck!

I like how Grand Abolisher stops mana abilities on non-lands. I'm sure this makes a few cards really good (Wild Might is all that comes to mind).

Looking forward to the 'of Empires' line and hope they are all uncommon so I can run them.
Arachnus Spinner is pretty interesting.
Carnage Wurm is a 9/9 Trampler at an uncommon slot for 7. Awesome!

Oooh, Ponder is back! Let's hope for some Merfolk nipples!

I really like the 'of Empires' line of cards. If you have all three of them out:
-Scepter is a free, instant speed Lava Spike.
-Crown is a never ending Mind Control for {3}.
-And Throne gives you 5 1/1 soldiers for {1}.

Really bummed that the Throne is rare, but now I won't be chasing these cards.
