Major change in Extended

Wow, huge change. Extended is now everything from 4 years back instead of 7ish. Everything before Time Spiral is no longer in Extended.

Or as Anthony posted on Facebook, "Hope all of you that bought Dark Depths enjoy them."

Hmmm. That's... odd.
The change affects me not at all, but it just seems kinda wrong and a strange thing to do. And I don't think anyone saw it coming.

Now is a good time to have Grim Monoliths, and a good time to acquire Ravnica Duals.

I also just picked up 5 Bitterblossoms at $8 each, just in case Faeries becomes a powerhouse in Extended again (plus, it's one of my favorite cards ever!).

Rav duals are out?! yay! i can get more that one of each!

I think the reasoning behind this change was good and a better plan then what they originally planned to do. Rather then create a new format, just fix this one. I still won't play in it, but this means I can grab some cards cheaper now once July 1st rolls around.

EDIT: The Ravnica Duals range from 10-15 right now, so lets see how much they drop come these changes. Hopefully I can afford once of each.

The rav duals will be less than 5 each now. There is no competative use for them at all. What a dumb decision.

50 bucks for all the Rav Duals. Yes please!

Won't this just mean the price of other, legal dual lands (from Lor and Zen) will go up? [as well as the Tri Lands from Alara]

Aaaand, paid off... SCG is now selling Bitterblossoms for $15.

Make sure you get rid of your Dark Depths and Tombs of Yawg before October.
