I know no one is running it yet, but I've heard several people bring up the idea of putting in their deck just to mill themselves and dump 100+ cards in the graveyard. I think this might be a touch broken in the format, but let me know what you think.

I say yes, for the reason of possible brokeness with Dredge, Flashback, reanimation, and Yawgmoth's Will.
Also for the time issue. First you'd need to count the library then count off the half that's being milled. That seems like it would eat up a bit of time.

We should never, ever, ever, never, ever, ever, never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever ban cards that havent even been put in someones deck yet. Talking about certain cards is good and all, but no decision should be made until you see the card in action. When everyone saw that I was playing muse vessel in my big deck, you all wondered how good it was and if it was even worth a shot. I wondered the same thing. Once I played it though, it turned out to be amazing and definately worth playing.

Banning cards that dont even see play is such the wrong thing to do. That was the biggest problem with 5-color.com. NO one could organize a b/r list that was consistent.

I am the only player that has a deck built around the graveyard, and I dont play traumatize. I have like 6 available, but the card doesnt even do what I want. I want specific cards in my graveyard, not just a bunch of cards. If I were to ever resolve traumatize against you guys, I would be the ultimate target. If my grave was missing a key piece or two, I would just roll over and die. In a singleton format, traumatize is very much a crap shoot. If I were playing a combo deck, missing just one piece of the combo means I die. If I played four of everything, and was playing a combo deck, I could see the argument against traumatize. As it is now, the card is not even being played in our playgroup.

It is dumb to ban a card that you are just afraid of. It shows that you cant adapt to something new.

We banned Invincible Hymn without anyone playing it... it was just too stupid and powerful in this format.

I'm willing to give Traumatize a chance, but I'm not a fan of a card that people are going to use against it's intended purpose (milling an opponent rather than yourself).

No, but if it becomes an obnoxious and/or viable strategy, then it's out the window...

i think that's everyone. motion carried. Traumatize is legal, until it gets too ridiculous, then the banhammer will come down.
