Removing terror for doom blade you mean? Otherwise, why remove it?
Incinerate and EQ, how is this "fixing" your deck exactly?
Even a multi use sweeper like firespout i don't get removing...

nope, i'm done with them.

in Big Deck, rather in MY Big Deck, one likes to have cards that do two things. it's kind of a rule of thumb. so Terror comes out for this:



this hits artifact creatures, plus has the ability to deal damage. the extra 2 or 3R is meaningless in Big Deck.

still looking for a good replacement for Earthquake/Firespout. Probably Savage Twister. 3 damage just isn't enough, and i don't like hitting players with X damage.

Incinerate is crap for Big Deck too. i need to think of something that deals damage to creature and also does something else... like Lightning Helix (which is already in there).

I'm waiting until M11 to fix up my Big Deck again. I want to add in Crystal Ball, Baneslayer Angel, Fauna Shaman, and Primeval Titan (provided I can get my hands on all of them). I also want to add some of the level-up guys from RoE.

i noticed a card Jim had in his deck the last time we played:



i don't like this card for big deck, at all.

this card offers you two things. normally that's good for Big Deck... but not in this case. let's look at the two things.

option 1: a 2/3 vanilla creature for 2W.
option 2: Disenchant and a 2/3 vanilla creature for 2WW.

you would NEVER in Big Deck want this card, would you?



i think both options for a "two things" card need to stand on their own in this format. but that's just me. i'd suggest Qasali Pridemage or Indrik Stomphowler over this guy any day.
