Grixis Control

went 2-2 again last night. 3rd or 4th week in a row of 2-2.

finally played Jund round 1 and lost. He was an experienced Jund player and i was in it all 3 games so that made me feel good about the deck.
i then paired against uw control round 2 and lost. i feel like i should be winning these match ups with uw control but havent had much luck.
i did make a bad play that cost me the game2/match loss but for the most part his deck just had answers for mine.

round 3 i played a time sieve/glass dust hulk/borderpost deck. I just pithing needled time sieve both games ftw.

round 4 i played a mostly mono white deck with white knight, and knight of white orchis, walletslayer, emeria, honor of the pure and some other shit.
i timed an earthquake to sweep his board then beat him down with calcite snappers game 1 and game 2 i stuck a bloodwitch he couldnt stop.

the new bloodwitch looks hot, i need to get one for my cube.

Saw a new idea regarding Grixis Control im really excited to try.
A player at FNM was running a vamps version of the deck, with nighthawk, gatekeeper, and malakir bloodwitch along with blightning, lightning bolt, earthquake, and cruel. Didnt see what else he had, but i really like the idea!

A little more aggro and disruption than the classic Grixis. Nice.

Or is it now Vampires splashing blue?
