Looks moderately interesting, like something to do every once in a while.

seems like a lot of shit to remember for such a small format. i dunno, not a fan. the "banned" list seems to include milling in Standard only. i'd rather open a pack of cards and play with that than this.

i may build one and keep it with me just in case.

Ok, built one in a fit of sleeplessness last night. It's a piece of shit, but what else is new.

I like the idea and it is something I will try out, but I feel like I could have made up a better format than this.

I've got it! 16 Card Highlander!

Chris at C&M suggested building 3 decks, and the loser has the option each time of switching to another deck. Once you've cycled through all three decks, you lose.

No, I wrote up a quick idea last night, but after reading it again I was like 'WTF...'

I have an idea which I will quickly write out before posting it. In my head it sounds good, but isn't that how it always is ...

I'm stoked for the 15 card, 3 deck, knockout idea. As such, I have close to 20 decks. I am all about trying to get together to play with them - possibly one of the Comics and More Sundays? I will have the decks with on Tuesday night - if anyone wants to try this crazy idea out.

Ok, I'll get to work building another 2. I should be there tomorrow, at least.

Arg! Dan, you never mentioned that Type 15 was a Standard format. I've been thinking about decks using my cube ever since you mentioned it, but nothing is close to Standard. Ah, well. I was brewing a very mean WB discard/hate deck, too.

James made the same mistake. We started playing, and all of a sudden, he played a Rhox War Monk and Vindicated my dudes. I think I might have taken that game, completely on the back of the awesome Sarkhan the Mad.

For those of us who retain draft chaff, it's quite an affordable format. At the Pro Tour, at least two people reached into a pile of spare cards and built a Type 15 deck.

By the way, the new Night/Day flip cards are going to be great in Type15--night is pretty much guaranteed to fall before too long, right?

Not that I've ever played a game of it in my life, of course. But don't many games go into nodeck mode eventually?
