(10 word subject demands ftl)

I have never played with this card.
Its better than i thought.

Is it in anyone's cube?

It makes a Calciderm permanent. Also works on Zektar Shrine Expedition and Elemental Appeal but NOT on Ball Lightning.

What other cool shit can it do i should be aware of?

You can cancel Willbenders, void Storm spells, negate Pernicious Deed, and strip mine all the fetches . Stifle is a last pick in the cube that I'm always tempted to throw in "just in case."

Put that or Stifle on a scepter and you have yourself some pretty good control. Both are pretty much the same thing.

Trickbind is twice as expensive, ergo not better in Cube. Maybe in constructed in a format full of counterspell decks and permanents that activate multiple times a turn...

Sorry to necro here, but last Sunday, we cubed at C&M, and I boarded in Stifle against a deck with 2 planeswalkers (Jace 2 and Garruk), a fetch, and a ton of 187 creatures. I won game 3 when on the critical turn when he was about to go off, I Stifled his Eternal Witness trigger, and swung for the win next turn.

So it works in a cube where we use boards. I know Anthony does not, but I always wonder if it's maindeckable. It's usually card 25 or 26 for me (that's when it gets cut).

Stifle really does have a slew of targets in this format though, i cant see it as a terrible card at all.
