1/6 - Wednesday Night

So Tuesday night is out for me (plus, we found out that Tuesday might be the busy night at KC's), so I wanted to see if anyone was up for getting together Wednesday, either at my house or KC's.

I'd like to do the Cube draft, in duels if possible, since we haven't done it in a while, and I've added a lot of new shiny cards since we last did it. If we have too few people, maybe multiplayer draft. If you don't want to Cube, we can break out the random multiplayer decks from last week, or Big Deck it.

And James, I am replete with crappy rares begging to be built around. If you want to build a constructed multiplayer deck and are missing the cards, I'm sure we can work something out. You're welcome to peruse my recently sorted card catalog as well for cheap cards.

I am definately ready to do some cube drafting and 1v1 would be fun as well. I will let you guys know tuesday if I can make it on Wednesday.

Cube sounds good. Figure I can never have too many opportunities to do horrible at it.

Though I'm hoping to have a chance for some Big Deck in the near future. Made some adjustments to mine recently, wanting to see how they work.

i have 3 packs i won a while ago that i cracked only to see if anything treasurey was in them but otherwise are still complete and could be shuffled into a winston for example.

actually, i fully planned to go tonight BUT i woke up this morning with an out-of-nowhere cold that is kicking my butt so far this morning. Unsure if ill be attending or not. Someone let me know here if you have even numbers or not, might make a difference of whether i show up or not.

I heard from John O. He said he'd most likely pass on tonight.

Looks like with James, we would have 4 (not including contagion). If we do it at my house, can Jim give Brandon a ride? Is that too much trouble, Jim?

Sorry, can't do it. I'm coming from Valley Forge, and I'm going to be late, so I wouldn't make it to your place till after 8pm if I had to drive to Ambler, get Brandon, then drive to your place.

noon update, not feeling as terrible, but may elect to just go home and sleep.

At this point, I'm thinking we should stick a toe tag on today and try again next week.

Sounds good. Maybe next Tue/Wed will work out better.

Hopefully. Cube would kinda nice. And I'm thinking I'll have atleast 1 new 'normal' deck ready by then, in the event we decide to do normal multiplayer again.

Maybe we should consider trying to get together on a saturday or sunday again. That way we shouldn't have to worry about someone being late cause of work, or having to leave early for similar reasons. Perhaps make a day of it, play some varying formats like cube, big deck, normal stuff, edh, whatever.

im down for a weekend day.

I'd be down for something Sunday, though I'm thinking of going to Redcap's if anyone else is interested.
