I am becoming more and more impressed with Conley Woods' articles on channelfireball.com. His status as an expert deckbuilder, put together with his agonizingly close finishes and humble self-reflection makes for some of the best reads for anyone trying to get better at magic, whether that's at the kitchen table or the next PTQ.

This one was especially valid I found:

All about understanding your deck's identity. I always run into this issue when I'm drafting: what is my deck really trying to do. It's so much better than lumping good cards together.

This one from Ultima66 is also great. I especially like the "Bad Spike" section, which I'm reminded of every time I read the forums of most Magic sites.
