I read that article before the draft on Friday, which gave me the idea to triple draft Stampeding Rhinos. Needless to say, they were the best part of my deck. A 4/4 for 5 with evasion is never a bad thing in limited.

I honestly think the most powerful colors in M10 Draft are Green and White, after what I saw on Friday. You really want to have main-deck artifact and enchantment hate in this format to deal with all the crazy stuff out there (Gorgon Flail, Pacifism, Oakenform, Platinum Angel, ect).

i think drafting base red is possible, but you need the bombs. Magma Phoenix, Bogardan Hellkite, and Fireball launched me to a winning draft on Friday.
