Draft with 3x Shards Block Foil!

The local store ran out of Zendikar, so they decided to do a 3x foil pack draft! Entry was only $20, so I figured I would at least draft and then drop. Here's the deck:

Man, it's been so long since I've drafted that set. Looks like the brackwater elementals held down the fort while your flyers went to town. How was your lack of removal? And how was Covenant of Minds?

ditto, reading that list was like looking at a foreign language you once learned but cant remember.

I only got to cast Covenant of Minds once, but I had a Coatl in play so I auto-received the top 3 cards I like the card, just not as much as Kiss of the Amesha in this kind of deck. It is just a refueling card, the last one in your hand you cast.

Most of my games followed the same formula:

Phase 1- Attack with fliers
Phase 2- Block with Unearth Guys
Phase 3- Stormcaller's Boon my guys (incl. the unearthed ones) for an alpha strike before their guys kill me.

Some games didn't make it to Phase 2, I would just win by playing a million fliers. One of my games I won at 1 life while my opponent (playing big Naya dudes) was at 17. I actually didn't need removal all that much, as most times the couple counterspells were enough disruption since they were on the defensive all game.

I opened a prize pack, and received the following cards: Stoic Angel, Lorescale Coatl, Oblivion Ring, Colossal Might, Captured Sunlight, Violent Outburst, blanks...
