BASIC RULES
Type 15 is a new Magic the Gathering Format. While similar to 15 Card Highlander, Type 15 is slightly different in that you are playing with 3 unique, 15 card highlander decks. It has its own banned and restricted list (philosophy below) and is meant to be a casual/competitive format.
MATCH RULES
Tournament Scoring
If necessary, you can score Type 15 Matches with the following (to determine tiebreakers and rankings between players):
Example: Chris and Luke play a match. Luke and Chirs draw the first game, KO'ing each of their decks and gaining 1 point each. Then Luke beats Chris. Luke gets 2 points, Chris gets 0, has his second deck KO'd, and takes his last remaining deck. Chris loses that match as well, which gives the Match to Luke, and scores Luke an additional point, and +2 bonus points. Finaly Tally: Luke 7, Chris 1)

BASIC RULES
Type 15 is a new Magic the Gathering Format. While similar to 15 Card Highlander, Type 15 is slightly different in that you are playing with 3 unique, 15 card highlander decks. It has its own banned and restricted list (philosophy below) and is meant to be a casual/competitive format.
- Type 15 is a subformat - meaning that Type 15 by definition is played with cards from any existing Magic legal format (i.e. you could play Type 15 Standard (the assumed baseline) or Type 15 Modern, or Type 15 Lorwyn/Shadowmoor Block).
- Type 15 is played with 3 Decks of 15 Magic the Gathering cards.
- Each deck may only contain 1 of any given card other than basic lands ( highlander rules)
- You may not have more than 1 copy of a card (other than basic land) between decks (i.e. if you have Timely Reinforcements in Deck 1, you cant have them in Deck 3 as well)
- If you would draw a card from your library, and you cannot, you do not lose the game.
- All other Magic rules, errata, etc. are in place for the format that you are playing.
- Unless noted, it is always assumed that you are playing Standard Type 15.
MATCH RULES
- Each player starts with 3 decks of 15 cards, highlander by deck and across decks. These three decks together are called your "Set".
- Each player selects a deck from their "Set" (also called your Starting Deck)
- Players play a game with the selected decks, by the basic rules.
- The player who loses the game (or both playes in the event of a draw), set aside the "losing deck(s)" That Deck is considered "Knocked Out" (KO'd)
- Any player with a KO'd deck now selects a new deck from thier "set"
- Repeat until only one player has a deck remaining in their Set (i.e. all of their opponents decks have been KO'd and they still have at least one deck in their set), they are the winner of the match.
Tournament Scoring
If necessary, you can score Type 15 Matches with the following (to determine tiebreakers and rankings between players):
- Game Win - 2 Points
- Game Draw - 1 Point (each)
- Game Loss - 0 Points
- Bonus Points - +X Points for each remaining deck in your set at the end of the Match
Example: Chris and Luke play a match. Luke and Chirs draw the first game, KO'ing each of their decks and gaining 1 point each. Then Luke beats Chris. Luke gets 2 points, Chris gets 0, has his second deck KO'd, and takes his last remaining deck.
