I thought I'd move our Lovecraft mythos conversation over here.

There's a recent silent movie adaptation of The Call of Cthulhu that I thought was quite good. It's in the style of a movie from the 20's, which is perfect. It has the right tone of discord and dread that pervades the written story. And it's free to watch on (ct)hul(h)u.
