Maybe Jim (and Abby) are referring to the fact that tumblr as a concept is very hipster-y. I don't think your photos are nearly as hipster douchebag as many tumblr accounts. I know someone who does nothing but take shots of the sky from her car at a 45 degree angle.

Hipster is such an overused, broad term now.
Hipster is the new douchebag it seems.
Taking obscure photos, trying to be eclectic or edgy s just annoying, not necessarily hipster haha
