All I noticed was the addition of Big Deck, which is cool and helps keep it all orga-ma-nized.
IDK what else you could add or improve on ... Maybe the look of the forums? Very generic and boring. I could make a banner for what ever color scheme you decide to go with.

I initially chose this color scheme because it was the least obtrusive and simplest. A lot of the other ones had bizzare cartoony images all over the place, odd looking buttons, and difficult-to-read text. I'm of the design school that simple and readable is always better than flashy.

If you'd like, I can put up some samples, one per day, and you can vote on them. Probably even better, there's a list of skins at http://en.hitskin.com/popular-skins.htm. I believe we have the right kind of forum to use them. Let me know of one or two you like, and we can try them out.

In fact, I think it's just the grey version of this theme.

The gray one Steve linked was pretty good, but our there options to place a banner of sort at the top? This forum could use a little more 'Zazz'

After 20 minutes, I found the option to create a banner at the top. If you want to create one, post it, and if it meets approval, I'll put it at the top.

My only guidelines: Make sure it has "MTG Philly" on it. It's not sucking would be great too, though I don't know I could do the same if I created one.

Yeah. I'll just get like the mana symbols and an iconic card art work or something and put it on a soft colored background and slap some filter buttons.

If not, I can always lengthen it out more. Try centering it if you can.

Let me preface by saying that I can read sarcasm, so I'm assuming you're not really lost, but actually just reacting to a lot of changes.

With that said, I though I'd detail what I changed so you can say whether I violated my "simplicity" rule.

1. Added Zuty's banner
2. Changed the description for the site (right underneath Zuty's banner)
3. Changed all the forum icons to mana symbols. They're variations on blue and red (since that was the original theme). So blue for read, red for unread (ha!). Spinning blue or red for popular threads. Upside down blue for a sticky. I tried so hard to use the tap symbol for them, but I could not find a high resolution tap symbol anywhere. Blue with a little lock on it for locked. I truly stretched my Photoshop skills here.
4. Changed the tiny icons at the top to different expansion symbols, but I ran out of ideas (what's a good expansion symbol for "Profile" or "Messages?"). Any ideas how to fill the rest out, or is this a dumb idea?

What do you think?

I like the set icons.

Profile would have to be like ... a face ... Apocalypse, Darksteel, Fifth Dawn, Mercadian Masques?
Messages I would have as like a feather or something quick, Lorwyn is as close as I can find to a feather. If not that, maybe one of the Portal sets?

Looks great so far tho.

why is the black mana symbol in the banner the Punisher skull?

i think the symbols should be something like this:

black for locked
green for sticky (trees aren't going anywhere)
white for something else

all the blue is making my head spin
