Im free, whats the game plan?

Dan was up for going to his house wednesday and play. I am not sure what I will be doing cause my schedule has been so damn random. Im sure at least a few guys will be playing though.

My house is open if you want to play Wednesday night. We still have the issue that Steve, Brandon and John O's usual ride, is out of town. How possible would it be for you guys to get here? Could either John W or Jim give a ride (if you're coming)?

If I'm coming, I will definately be able to give Brandon and John O a ride, but wont know if I can make it till tuesday.

I could not give them a ride, I'd be coming from Valley Forge (straight from work).

So I guess we're waiting to hear if John W can get Brandon and John O? John, let us know as soon as you can.

If not, maybe another trip to KC's? Is that too far to go, James?

Its a bit of a trek, mostly going home is the issue, if we play late especially. Guess i'll have to feel it out.

Looks like we're on for Wendesday. Still have lots of beer and salsa (perfect combination). If John O wants to use his inside Acme contacts to get some chips, that would be just perfect.

I'd like to draft my cube, only because I just added about 15 new cards, 10 or so of which are Zendikar. I will of course defer to any other decision.

So it seems we're Cubing tonight, yes?

I think so, but bring a big deck too.

I'm sure we'll work in a few games of Big Deck along the way, though cubing should be a good amount of fun too (either James's or Dan's should be fine).

Good times were had by all. I know most people were just masturbating during the Big Deck game, but I had a good time. I think if we do a 6-man game again we should avoid multi-player chaos, as it seems to devolve into nothing but board-wiping and kill spells (Emperor or Duels would be better).

I messaged Dan soon after i left to say that i really have no interest in ever playing a group game of more than 4 players ever again.

Even had i not dismissed that wacky spell of John's, i didnt really enjoy those group games all that much.

Dont get me wrong, im glad i got together with you guys, i just prefer duels or 3way.

5 players is okay, we did that last Wednesday and had a fairly fast game with a lot of re-spawns (though it could be the affect of multiple Sway of the Stars and Once More With Feeling). But yeah, fun times last night but a bit slow and weighted down by "your response is..."

I think if we do 6-player again we do Emperor or split up for duels. I hope this didn't turn you off to Big Deck, James.
