Changes starting with Innistrad prerelease
I'm not quite sure how this will impact us.
http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=338625
From mtgsalvation:
Changes for the Innistrad Prerelease:
- Stores will be able to host up to two "main events" at Core level, and up to four "main events" at Advanced level during the prerelease weekend. All events held will count towards future prerelease product allocation for that store.
- Prerelease kits will now include a 5' by 2.5' standee display (in North America, Latin America, and Japan), and a counter-top standee with pull-off ads for upcoming promotional events.
Changes for the Innistrad Launch Party:
- Introduction of an "Innistrad League." Participating stores will be provided with enough product to run two six-week sealed deck leagues, lasting until the release of the next set in February. Prizes for the top four players of each league will also be provided.
- The Launch Party kit will feature a larger poster advertising the launch party on one side, and has a decorative advertisement on the reverse side to use after the launch is complete.
Changes for the Innistrad Game Day event:
- Game Day kits will include a larger, movie-size poster, which like the launch party poster flips over to become a general advertisement after the game day is over.
Changes to all event kits:
- All of the above will also include score pads, for tracking life totals.

Re: Changes starting with Innistrad prerelease
Yeah... I'm not seeing any of this really impacting us, unless the local stores change how they're doing their weekly limited events.
Re: Changes starting with Innistrad prerelease
You missed the big thing that affects us: score pads!
But more seriously, it doesn't seem to do much to us. The stores get a little more promotional material, which means nothing.
The thing about "main events" makes me think we might see some stores running sealeds on both saturday and sunday, or two slightly staggered ones on one day in order to allow more people to play/split up a large group into two smaller ones.

Re: Changes starting with Innistrad prerelease
Core and Advanced are just different levels a store can be at. That level determines certain things, like amount of product the store can get for prereleases, number of promos they get for stuff, etc. I'm not sure what determines a store's level though. I think it's a mix of attendance and number of events run.
