Looks like the pre-cons will be multi-colored too, GU and GR for starters.

New mono-colors planeswalkers in the set as well with Chandra and Sorin. Nice!

Wrath of God is back, though with a new name, Day of Judgment. Same mana cost, same effect sans the regeneration clause.

Not sure i agree his -3 ability is all that great.
If you are black, you are likely aggro, and by turn 6 i would hope your opponent would be at or near 10 life by then?

Although, in EDH its pretty pimp.

This land will become an "auto in" in red decks, right? i mean, it taps for red, and after turn 6 or so it wreaks uncounterable havoc for no cost whatsoever.

Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle

Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle enters the battlefield tapped.
Whenever a Mountain enters the battlefield under your control, if you control five other Mountains, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
Tap : Add R to your mana pool.

The problem is, how many do you run? If you run 4, they'll slow you down (CIPT) and won't trigger the 3 damage until turn 7 or so at the earliest. Plus, are red decks really scrambling to get to turn 6. Shouldn't your opponent be dead by then? Seems like a 1 or 2 of at best, and even then I'd rather just play a lightning bolt.

Looks like this is going to be a land-based set, the new cards revealed today revolve around the "Landfall" ability, sort of like Battle-wand Oak from Lorywn. It also seems there will be a multiple ways to play more than 1-land a turn, at last going by the red trap-sell that goes off if more than 2 lands went into play that turn.

Orb of Insight is up!

-No River of Tears or Horizon Canopy
-No Delve or any other Future Sight mechanics
-Kicker and Landfall in a BIG way, also Quests!
-3 Planeswalkers
-Harrow re-print, possibly also Ravenous Balroth

The hits keep on coming! I felt bad about not buying a box of M10, but I think I'll have to pick up a box of Zendikar. Got to love the return of kicker (personal favorite mechanic)!
