Zuty's First Post

A'hoy everyone. I don't know if everyone remembers me, but my name is Michael McGlade and I had been going to Dimension Collectibles since it first opened and I have been playing Magic since Odyssey, but quit around Shards of Alara. (which I regret doing as I hear it was a great block) My girlfriend plays, so I dusted off all my cards and started playing again.

I am a VERY casual player (or at least I am trying to be) and I enjoy playing different formats, (I partook in The Cube once or twice and really enjoyed it) but mostly Poor Man's. I also play Three Card Blind (3CB or Three Card Magic/3CM) when I am bored and I am addicted to it now.

I like building decks more then playing, but I am not amazing at making decks. Still learning and I hope to learn from you guys.

So you'll see me bouncing around here, just giving everyone a heads up.

Hey! Welcome back! I remember you drafted about 1.5 times with us and then decided to shelf the magic cards again. But glad to see you're here. We'll have to do a KC's night for old times sake, and whip out the cube.

Yeah, I miss the game and I miss the store even more. I really shouldn't have left for the reasons I did, but it's all in the past now. I'll just be incredibly casual with the game and see where it takes me.

I'd love to do the cube again or Winston draft (I think that was the name...) I need to figure out the new set, I am looking back at the Alara cards and I just like that set more then the new set for some reason.

Hey Mike, its John W here, I'm glad to hear from you again. We try to get together at least once a month now for some fun casual magic. It would be great if you came around and joined us. Not sure when or where the next meeting might be, but I am definately into another KC's night, its been a while.

Oh KC's Alley? I've been there. Do you guys play magic there or just meet up there?

Generally play there. I'm still surprised more people don't make fun of us.

Awesome. Just let me know when you guys are gonna be there, I can walk down. Other then a crappy poor man's deck, I don't have any decks built so I will just show up and hang out if that's fine too.
