Worldwake "the other kind of speculation"

Looking through SSG prices for at least a baseline to go by this weekend.

Looks like the big ticket mythics are:

Abyssal Persecutor: $30
Jace, the Mind Sculptor: $35
Admonition Angel: $12.50
Omnath, Locus of Mana: $12
Dragonmaster Outcast: $7.50

The rest are under $5. I feel like Outcast could go up, and Persecutor and Angel could go down. Probably Omnath also, but I'm not really sure.

Here are the expensive rares:

Manlands: $6-7
Kalastria Highborn: $5

Everything else is under $5.

Uncommons:

Everflowing Chalice: $.75
Kor Firewalker: $1.25
Hada Freeblade: $.50
Leatherback Baloth: $.75
Loam Lion: $1
Sejiri Merfolk: $1
Smother: $1
Tectonic Edge: $1

I would say pick up any Tectonic Edges and Freeblades you can. Smother is not a bad card to have a playset of (since the Onslaught version is up to $1.50 on SSG).

I meant more because there is still rampant speculation about whether Steamflogger Boss will be any good if/when the riggers and contraptions are released.

I personally get annoyed when they print dead cards. Eye of Ugin will NEVER make my draft deck, sealed deck, or any standard deck for the next 4 months. Even in a Big Deck-like environment, 7 to tutor for your duplicant is silly, and you can't even get changelings as A) they're not colorless, and B) there is no Eldrazi creature type yet. It's basically a kick in the balls to open it.
