Randomly got an e-mail about a PTQ this weekend. I went to the last one and, while I didn't do amazing (1-2), it was quite fun. Plus with the dealers there it's an easy way to get stuff for EDH. Last event had 298 players.

Thanks for the heads up. I did see that too, and I might be heading there for some trading/browsing.

12/12 is the TCG player 5k, 12/13 is the PTQ. Do you have the location/times you can post?

I might have saw you sometime later that day at the event. I was there from start until about 4:50. I didn't do too hot, but I did pick up some singles. Nothing fancy. I was able to split 1-1-1 in my first round against a top 8 States finalist, but after that I didn't win a game I think.
