11/18 - Dan's House? *** ACTUALLY MOVED ***
How about a good ol' fashioned cube! It's been ages, and no one has played with my new foily cards yet (or Sorin Markov). I was playing DC-10 with someone last night, and realized it was the first time I saw the foil textless Lightning Bolt.

Sounds like an idea.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is this DC-10?

There are different versions, but here's the way I learned:
Start with a giant pile of cards (the same pile) and no cards in hand. Each turn you draw a card (just like regular magic). You have infinite mana each turn, though activated abilities and cards with buyback can only be played once per turn, and for X spells/abilities, X can only be 1 or 0. Any land that solely produces mana can be cycled (though you remove it from the game), though it doesn't have to be (for instance, I can regular cycle a barren moor to pump my tarmogoyf. Any tutors are cycled in the same way (though for these, it's mandatory). Each player has their own graveyard, and if a card makes you rearrange the top cards of your library (brainstorm, etc.) you create your own mini-library of those cards until you run out of them. The player who loses goes first next time.

Oh, ok. Sounds kinda fun. I think I recall seeing someone playing like that at AU once.

Richard Dean Anderson (dressed as MacGyver): Hey, ladies! Guess who made MacGyver burgers? MacGyver!
Selma: But we didn't have any ground beef.
Richard Dean Anderson: True. But you did have Slim Jims, a cheese grater, and rubber bands to hold it all together!

Looks like we're doing a shift of venue either to Jim's or KC's, for easy transport of Brandon and John O. What's easiest for you guys?
Re: 11/18 - Dan's House? *** ACTUALLY MOVED ***
KCs would be easiest, I think. Waiting to hear back from John O at the moment, to make sure he's going

Fun night last night guys. It was good to draft the cube again, its definately been a while. Thanks for moving the venue to Kc's, sorry I couldnt give a guarantee that I would be there or not and if I could give John O and Brandon a ride.
