11/4 - KC's

In speaking with John and John (not to be confused with They Might Be Giants), we're going to do this Wednesday at KC's. I'll bring the cube along in case we get enough people to play it, and I guess we'll have the standby of Big Deck.

James, just be glad you missed our peasant night. Everyone forgot to pack sweepers (like Infest, pyroclasm, etc) and John W ended up expressing his Sprout Swarm tokens in scientific notation. I had removal protection in my deck, but it was a dead against the sea of no removal.

So let's see how many people we get and then decide what to play. Looks like 6 so far (if Brandon and John O come. And there used to be this guy named Steve who would come, but it's just a distant memory now).

Steve should be there, so we might have a pretty good crowd.

I figure I should be there, as long the not-quite cold I'd been fighting the last couple of days doesn't pop back up.
We're looking at being there when? 6:30, 7:00?

I should also say, fun time last night!

Play of the night HAD to have been when Jim went to the bathroom and John played Standstill. That was even better than not one, but 2 All Suns Dawn being played at instant speed via an Orrery and Orrery clone.

I died a lot and had a great time. Hopefully I'll be there on Friday night, but my weekend is crazy, so I don't know if I'll be able to.

The standstill play was pretty funny. Jim sits down, looks around the table, looks at his hand, taps mana, and we all draw 3 cards. What the hell!! It was pretty funny that no one said anything. John O was really trying to abuse savage beatings. He ended up killing me with it at the end of the night.

That really hurt... got remember to ask what I missed last time.

For all the times that Dan cast Conflux and All Suns Dawn I think my multiplying Dragons was a better trick. It was pretty hilarious that 3 people had to conspire to kill my Mistmeadow Witch in order to stop the shenanigans. Now if I could have just got my Oversold Cemetery online...
