My friend Usman made someone's idea a reality, and created a split card cube. Each card is a split card with two options based on actual magic cards (as you can see below).

I am hoping he'll be at Origins in June so I can give it a whirl, but meanwhile, I asked him for the image files so I can print my own out. With any luck, I'll have my own that we can try out.

he didn't recreate each of them in Photoshop, did he? it seems like a lot of work! i hope it pays off; it looks really cool.

He used Magic Set Editor. It's still a ridiculous amount of work.
