oh i totally agree with most of this...

although i think he is undervaluing Circle of Flame. he seems to completely forgotten that it stacks combat in your favor on the ground in addition to disallowing X/1 creatures from attacking. granted, i really don't want to draw it too late, however i would (and have) love(d) it in several games. i can see that it's not always maindeckable. but what if you're low on removal? and i would put it RIGHT IN against bloodthirst. it stops all those T-Souls dead. (he touched on this)

While Circle of Flame might seem like a good card against aggressive decks, the fact is that even the most aggressive decks only have a couple of creatures that will actually be unable to attack into a Circle of Flame.

that's bullshit! the card doesn't say "deal 1 damage to attacking X/1 creatures", it says "non-flying attacking creatures". maybe in a vacuum, guy! there are tons more creatures "unable" to attack into a Circle the minute you drop a blocker. too many people forget about Circle later in the game and all of a sudden their 4/2 Vampire is falling to my now mostly useless Llanowar Elves. (this happened!)

i'm smart enough to have lots of "blockers" in my deck in addition to having a Circle. i dunno, i think this card is better than he says.

if your opponent showed you multiple copies of Sacred Wolf, that probably means that he or she has a bunch of good Auras to enhance them with.

no it effing doesn't, guy. he also overvalues his opponents. who the hell does he play with? Hall of Famers?

Surely you must admit that some of our codrafters have... idiosyncratic styles.

haha you know as well as i that i gave up midway through pack 2... and then put on a show like i would win with that pile of trash. i almost believed it myself!!!
