Crap Draft!

Found an interesting article on MTG Salvation about an alternate Draft Format... CRAP DRAFT!

Basically, every player brings 75 of the crappiest cards they own (which I assume we all have plenty of), mix them together, and then draft them. I'm actually kind of interested in trying this, anyone else down?

I feel like once the novelty wears off, it will be pretty boring. Like, imagine a draft in which all your rares and uncommons are replaced by commons. The fun part about draft (for me), is the combination of getting synergy within the commons with the power generated from some uncommons and rares. Like that aggressive R/W deck from Zendikar is fun to draft, but it's a riot when you get something like Emeria Angel.

Now, if we're talking Reject Rare Draft, that's a little different, since you're seeing a large pool of cards that you never normally see next to each other in a real draft.

That could also be good, though you might want to mix some uncommons in there to increase your pool.

Also, just to note, I'm not talking about doing a Crap Draft all the time, but it might be fun to do something radically different than the norm once.

i know i didnt have enough rares for it.

My friends and I have a crap draft set of cards. The problem is it started off as a good card/junk card draft so not every card is amazing, but it slowly turns into best cards only or interesting cards in a multiplayer format.
