Again, is there a CLEAR 1st pick here regardless of playing style?

John W will say Tinker, though I think it is slightly biased by playing style. Still, it's a gift getting it P1P1, because you have the rest of the draft to warp it completely.

That said, a safer first pick is Mox Diamond, which will pretty much go in any deck.

After that, you rip up Punish Ignorance and pretend it was never in the cube.

I'd probably grab the Spiritmonger, just because I've been beaten to death so many times by the bastard, and he's a real pain in the ass to get ride of. If I was going to make a better decision I'd probably grab the Tinker or Mox Diamond.

Yea, the tinker is definately my first pick. It is so easy to abuse, and getting it first pick lets you work the whole draft to make it execptional. The only other cards I look at would be venser and mox diamond. Not sure what I would take there, probably the diamond.

I agree with the FOF or tinker being likely 1st picks here but akroma would definitely tempt me.

1st pick akroma then draft acceleration?

Mox Diamond. Great acceleration and fixing in one that fits into any deck is awesome. Tinker is powerful, but I'm never cutting Diamond from my deck if I don't find enough 'support' cards.
