11/1 - Redcap's?
It looks like I'll be draft at Redcap's Corner on Sunday, and Dan has indicated he will be there as well. Is anyone else interested in draft there Sunday (at 5pm). I can give people rides if they can get to my place Sunday afternoon beforehand.

might roll through but unlikely to play unless someone wants to buy $15 worth of cards from me haha

Re: 11/1 - Redcap's?
I went. Drafted a mediocre w/b deck. It featured armament master and all his kor buddies, with blazing torch and grappling hook. Pack 3 Pick 1, I had a choice of Day of Judgment or Trusty Machete. I of course took the DoJ, but I think the Machete would have been the correct pick. In game 3 it came down turn 1 against me every game, and I took about 20 damage from it alone across the whole match. Even after I DoJ...
So that means my rating plummets again, but at least I got a Day out of it. And I did live the Armament Master dream for at least one game (and it was as sick as you might imagine).
In brighter news, I picked up the two Time Warps there for $4 each, and at the end someone offered me Marsh Flats for $10... then upped the ante by also offering Goblin Guide, Emeria, Rampaging Baloths, and a few more rares for an extra $5. Being a fan of free money, I took him up on it.
My mediocre record in Zendikar continues!

Re: 11/1 - Redcap's?
It's a really tricky set, but I enjoy playing it (especially after the bombastic M10 drafts we did). I think the real key is get a feeling for what those around you are drafting, so you don't get immediate color-conflicts. There are such strong signals in the set it's just a matter of finding out when to jump in.
Also, first pick Trusty Machete (though I don't think picking DoJ was wrong by any stretch of the imagination).
